Welcome to Sesser First Apostolic Church! We would love the opportunity to meet you in person to share more of our story with you and hear your story as well. The following is just a little bit of our journey that led us to Sesser.

In February 2020, God called us to pastor here in Sesser, Illinois.  My wife Shayla and I are both Southern Illinois natives. We have two wonderful boys, Charlie and Emery. Our ministry together started in 2012, when we were married. We have served in many ministry capacities over those years, both here in Illinois and in Georgia. We served as Youth Pastor and Small Group Pastor at Calvary Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois as well as Hyphen Pastor at Atlanta West Pentecostal Church.

We feel that we are here by God’s divine appointment, and God has given us a love, vision, burden, and mission to reach and affect the community of Sesser and the surrounding region. Though the journey hasn’t always been easy; God’s direction through it all is undeniable.

We invite you to attend one of our dynamic worship services and experience for yourself what God is doing here. God has helped us to assemble a team of leaders that have caught the vision and burden for Sesser, and we feel that there is no better time than now to be a part of what God has started and will continue to do at Sesser First Apostolic Church.
